Baby Peyton....so precious!

This week, I've had the wonderful opportunity to photograph three families. I'm still out of town on the west coast of FL, but I wanted to post just a few of my faves from Thursday's "Baby Makes Three" portrait. Here it is!!

Another Machaby sister is getting hitched!!

I'm so excited and honored to be photographing Megan and Hunter's wedding next February! I photographed her sister's wedding last November (Erin and Lee). They're such a wonderful family to work with and I can't wait for round 2!! Here's their story: They met while performing together in the circus in college. They told me that they were partnered up together on the trapeze and that when the sparks flew. How unique! I LOVE their story! I mean, it's true. You really have to build that "trust factor" in relationships and with Megan and Hunter, that was the first thing they had to do, even before their first date! So, I automatically said that we needed to do some type of trapeze flying in their engagement session, which they happily agreed. I even went as far as calling up Cirque De Soleil here in Orlando to ask to see if they would let us shoot there....yea right! They pretty much laughed at me. Hey, a girls gotta try right? I showed up the day of the photo shoot ready to go, however the weather said otherwise. I told them, we'll do a little shooting indoors and wait for the rain to pass. Well, it being in July, it wasn't looking likely. We photographed at their home, where I had the pleasure of meeting their two adorable cats and where I got to see Hunter's extensive collection action figures. I had to incorporate those into the shoot! After that, we headed to the park, and finally got to squeeze in a little bit of time on the trapeze. The weather just wasn't allowing me to get some great, colorful portraits of them dressed up and looking fab. Megan and I spoke and agreed to to a two-part engagement session and continue it on another day. I couldn't have agreed more! Here are a few from day one and day two. Enjoy!!

DSC_6173I made Hunter pull these out. Megan told me that one day she walked into their house and there they were, sitting on the book shelf, perfectly placed. :)

Elisabeth + Rich + Antigua = Good Photos and a Good Tan!

Hey guys, so I've been meaning to blog this one for a while, so here goes. This past June Natalie and I hopped a plane back to San Juan and then over to Antigua, a beautiful island over in what I believe is called the West Indies. Absolutely breath taking. Our mission: to photograph our honeymooners from Connecticut "Trashing the dress" in the waters of Antigua along with a Boudoir Session of the lovely Elisabeth! I prided myself on sneaking my equipment into the Sandals Beach Resort where they were staying and where her boudoir photo session was taking place. I just look like a "really avid photographer / tourist". Phew! No joke, the security there is pretty intense for us photogs. Anyway, those I can't show, but here are a few portraits of their "Trash the Dress" photos. Natalie did the makeup and hair, good job girl! We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know both Elisabeth and Rich and I loved being able to get some kick-ass photos of them on their honeymoon. Thanks to you both for a lovely experience down in Antigua and not to mention, the fabulous tan I came back with (that is now dissipated.) Oh well.
